Teaching finance in Business Studies is challenging. This course aims to break down and simplify this key curriculum area (20% of the HSC content for Business Studies) – to give participants deeper subject knowledge and ways of designing and implementing this into their teaching and learning programs. It also provides stimulus for creative assessment.

This is Course 2 of a 3 course series that covers EVERY aspect of finance in Business Studies.

It covers the Role of financial management, debt and finance options, the influence of institutions and the processes of financial management. It also provides an in depth contemporary case study on ethical financial reporting issues and a fully worked assessment task.
